HiPPAG 320 supplies high-pressure pure air for the cryogenic cooling of infrared missile seekers. HiPPAG 320 is intended for installation on-board the aircraft platform inside the missile launcher as a direct replacement for rechargeable gas bottles. The modular construction of HiPPAG 320 allows it to be configured for a variety of launcher installation options. HiPPAG is suitable for the support of short-range air-to-air missiles such as Sidewinder, ASRAAM and IRIS-T. Launcher applications include LAU-7, LAU-127, CRL and MFRL.

Operational and Logistics Benefits of HiPPAG 320
Provides continuous cooling - allows unlimited mission duration and reduces restrictions on forward deployment of aircraft
Very high levels of gas purity ensure maximum seeker performance and reliability at all times
Eliminates the need for gas bottles, bottle charging equipment and the logistics support chain
Potential for Through Life Cost savings due to the low maintenance requirements of HiPPAG
Reduced aircraft turn around time since there are no bottles to change
Improved handling safety since much smaller volume of high pressure gas
